- We only collect what you give us, like your name and email when you book a call, plus basic visit stats from Google Analytics.
- Numbers you type into our free tools never reach us. They stay in your browser.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
- Want to see or delete what we have? Email [email protected].
Who We Are
Move Accelerator is a marketing agency that works only with moving and junk removal companies. This policy covers moveaccelerator.com and the ways you contact us through it. When we say "we," "us" or "our," we mean Move Accelerator. When we say "you," we mean anyone who visits the site or gets in touch with us.
What We Collect
What you give us
- When you book a call: your name, email, phone number, company name and anything you write in the booking form. Calls are booked through Calendly.
- When you email or call us: your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us about your business.
What we collect automatically
- Visit data from Google Analytics: pages you view, how long you stay, how you found us, your general location (city or region, not your address), and your device and browser type.
- Standard server logs: like every website, our hosting provider records technical data such as IP addresses and browser types to keep the site running and secure.
We don't ask for, and don't want, sensitive information like payment card numbers or government ID numbers through this website.
Our Free Tools
Our calculators, checklists and generators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type in are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
Two tools, the SEO starter checklist and the speed to lead stopwatch, save your progress in your browser's local storage so you can come back to it. That data stays on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for moveaccelerator.com, or with the clear button where a tool has one.
How We Use Your Information
- To reply to you, run the call you booked and follow up about it.
- To prepare for that call, for example by looking at your company's public website and Google profile.
- To understand which pages and guides are useful, so we can make the site better.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations.
If you book a call, we may email you about it and follow up afterward. We won't add you to a newsletter without asking, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time.
Who We Share It With
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the services we use to run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Calendly, to book and manage calls.
- Google, for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and Google Fonts, which loads the fonts on this site.
- Our website platform and hosting provider, which runs the site and its server logs.
- YouTube, when you play a video embedded on our pages.
- Email and phone providers, to send and receive our messages.
Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a buyer or successor if the business is ever sold or reorganized. That includes moving the business into a company we form, such as a limited liability company.
Cookies And Analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell one visit from another and to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google's opt out browser add-on. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services here.
YouTube may set its own cookies when you play an embedded video. Calendly may set cookies when you open the booking calendar.
Our site doesn't currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there is no common standard for them yet. The Google Analytics opt out above works no matter what.
If You're A Client
When we work together, we may get access to your ad accounts, Google Business Profile, website, analytics and the leads that come in through them. We use that access only to do the work we agreed on, and our written agreement with you governs how that information is handled. This policy covers the website. Your agreement covers the work.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. For example, we keep booking and email history while we're talking with you, and for as long as we need it for records, tax or legal reasons after that. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account. When we no longer need something, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your Choices And Rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop contacting you.
Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm it's really you before we act, and we may need to keep some records the law requires us to keep. Depending on where you live, such as some US states, the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Security, Children And Other Details
Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, like secure connections and limited access. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If something does, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Where your data is handled. Our team works from more than one country, and the services we use may store data in the United States and elsewhere. By using the site, you understand your information may be handled outside the country where you live.
Children. This website is for business owners. It isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Other websites. Our guides link to other websites. We're not responsible for how those sites handle your data, so check their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site.
